Suzhou Electric Tools Exports Price Increase

According to statistics from Jiangsu Suzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in 2011 Suzhou District exported 7705 electric tools with a value of 412 million U.S. dollars. Compared with 2010, although batches decreased by 303 lots, a decrease of 3.8%, the export value increased by 7100. Ten million US dollars, an increase of 20.3% compared with the previous year, the products are mainly exported to Finland, the United States, Australia, Japan and more than 50 countries and regions.

The major growth of Suzhou's power tool exports in the past two consecutive years was mainly due to the fact that, on the one hand, the foreign sales market gradually improved with the influence of the international financial crisis; on the other hand, the Suzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau closely focused on “Building Five” in 2011.
